Not everyone has the ability to absorb a ton of work and stay organized. We are exactly at that time of the year when work is overflowing, and (don’t lie to yourself) we are all
First of all we have to deal with all the school work, midterms and assignments. And for the unfortunates like me add an internship and an apartment to keep clean to that. It’s hard. So, your fairy-godmother has some great advice for you. In a few steps organize your work and save time for yourself.
“CLEAN” YOUR COMPUTER
In order to manage your work you must start by saving some time. If your computer is full of stuff classify your different subjects in folders. It will be easier for you to find your what your looking for. Throw all the unnecessary files in the trash. Clean your desktop, get rid of everything that’s not important. Then, align by preference your most important folders.
USE A CALENDAR
To have an overview of your work use a calendar, you can either print it or use the one on your phone. Create a schedule to follow (and respect it).
DON’T DO WORK LAST MINUTE
Of course no one wants to ear it but don’t procrastinate. Avoid all distractions and get to work when you have time for it. Spend 1 hour every Sunday morning to review all you have to do for the week and list the things you have already done.
And that’s it, if you follow theses steps you will soon see a lot of time getting loose.
