5 Favorite Parisian Spots !

Oh, I love Paris so much. Even though I am now living the American Dream in New York City (sike). Last week I got to go to my favorite spots in Paris. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !

Matignon

The Matignon is one of Michael Costes restaurants. It is located very close to the Champs Elysées and Avenue Montaigne, on Avenue Matignon. It’s a very beautiful spot, the terrace is always warm and comfortable. However inside the ambiance is crazier. Passed 8pm there is always a good musical background, and a DJ on week-ends.  Also they have the BEST FRENCH TOAST I have ever eaten in my entire life.

Cafe Marly

The Café Marly is also one of Michael Costes restaurants (I love his restaurants). What I like the most about this place is the view. The Marly is located in front of the majestic and very famous Pyramid of the Louvre. You can enjoy a french break fast in the morning, a good bottle of wine in the afternoon or a delicious dinner at night, and admire the breath taking view. Very Parisian !

Hôtel Costes

Can’t miss the Hôtel Costes, of course. The very famous restaurant of the Hotel Costes, on Saint-Honoré street. At 5 minutes walk from the Place Vendôme, Hôtel Costes is the best place for french food lovers and luxury. (Yet you have to know that a friend recently told me that every food they serve is frozen. Oops !) It is one of my favorite spots because of its ambiance and coziness.

The Peninsula Paris

The Peninsula Hotel in Paris is the perfect place to have a tea time. The service is amazing, you can enjoy your time at The Lobby where a guitarist plays chill songs, or either stay on the terrace and enjoy the view on Avenue Kléber. Their pastries are to die for, and their cocktails…I mean look at the picture ! They also have a good Chinese restaurant, the Lili where you can eat their awesome Pekin  Duck, and a french restaurant, l’Oiseau Blanc, and a cosy rooftop which is only open during summer.

Castiglione

Finally, the Castiglione Cafe on Saint-Honoré. I love this place for 3 reasons: the red color that runs the place, the cozy and warmed terrace (that is also open during Winter !), and the food. They serve the best escargots I have ever eaten and the biggest chocolate profiterole you probably have ever seen. However I hate profiterole so my best friends always eat it while I enjoy my favorite dessert, the chocolate fondant.
