Getting Rid of Fatigue Signs in 8 Steps

After two weeks of partying and sleeping late our skin is begging for rest. Just like most of us, I am not comfortable when my skin isn’t right. Plus, I am not a fan of make up, so daubing myself with foundation really isn’t my thing.

My everyday routine really helps me keeping that tonic and clear skin. A light make up illuminate my face and look.

 

STEP 1 : CLEAN 

When you wake up wash your face with very cold water and a cleaning gel. I highly recommend the brand « Clinique » liquid soap that is available at Sephora. You can select the product that corresponds the most to your skin type, so it’s very good for your skin. I recommend to use a brush to clean all the dirt at least once a day.

STEP 2: LOTION 

After washing you face you can take a shower. NEVER use body soap on you face, it will make your skin super dry ! Then when you are done with your shower, use cotton and clean-up your face with a lotion. I also recommend you to use the « Clinique » because it goes along with the soap and cream, and you can choose them according to your skin type which is great.

STEP 3: CORRECTION

Use a under eye cream or anti blemish creme. You can purchase the « Clinique » one but there are also good brands like «Kiehl’s» and «Bioderma», which offer good creams.

STEP 4: HYDRATE

NEVER hydrate your skin with body cream. Always use a DIFFERENT cream or serum for your face.  Body lotion is not adequate for our faces, it is too oily and will choke your pore. Here is the one that I love the most and works the best for my skin.

STEP 5 (for the ones wearing make-up) : NATURAL MAKE-UP

Use a bb cream or CC cream rather than regular foundation. It is lighter and more natural ! Add a concealer 2 tones under your skin color and apply under your eyes. (if your skin type is oily, use a primer it will soak up the sweat).

STEP 6: CLEAN YOUR SKIN

After a day outside don’t forget to clean your skin with a lotion, you can use the same one for the morning and evening. I recommend the « Bioderma » which really cleans your skin to use day and before bed. I also recommend a micellaire make-up remover to get rid of all traces of makeup.

STEP 7: TREAT

Wash your face with the same cleaning gel. Exfoliate your skin at least once a week with a face scrub.

STEP 8: NOURISH BEFORE SLEEPING

Use a night cream or serum, brands like « The Body Shop », « Clinique », and « Bioderma » are amazing. My sister uses Biotherm which is very light and affordable.

Don’t forget to get at least 7 hours of sleep every night, and sleep in total darkness.

 

Voilà ! If you follow those steps everyday you will see changes within at least two weeks. You will look and feel less tired, and have a radiant look !
